Role Call 2008
I thought it might be auspicious to drop a post on a New moon when Bhagavan Das is set to drop the Kali jams and bring down the shakti the day after 11.08. Well it’s not Oct. 8th, but still a 108, 1108, twice strong. I’m actually in CO and my profile says India, but haven’t updated it. So who is game for going to India this winter and where are you going in 2008?
I’m going to do a month in Mysore, and probably travels to Vrindavan, Rishikesh, Hardiwar, and maybe Goa in just over 2 months. It’s my 3rd trip there.

I'll be taking my second trip to India in 3 weeks. Will be there a month and will be mainly in the south. From Madras I plan to see Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Trichendur and Tirupathi.

Then I'm unsure... possibly city life and business stuff for a bit, or head to goa then kerala and hopefully do some volunteering on organic farms, or head for kolkata and do volunteer work
Late April - head for the hills, plan to spend all of the spring and summer in Himachal... if anyone is up for some trekking let me know!
I also have a 1 way ticket and plan on getting a multiple entry visa, so I could be in for a long ride. -

Fri, February 1, 2008 - 12:44 PMI'd love to go back to India in 2008, but it probably won't happen. My fiance and I are still paying back the credit cards from the trip we took there in 2007. It was the best travel trip ever! We became engaged last year in January in Jaipur.
I lived in India for 2 and a half years when I was in my early 20's. But I didn't travel about much then. My fiance has been to India 9 times and absolutely loves it. He brought me to India last year during the time of the Kumbh Mela. I have photos posted here:

Besides Allahabad we visited Delhi, Jaipur, Agra. Pune, Goa, Bangalore and Mysore. In Bangalore we stayed with good friends who live there. We want to return to India as soon as we can, but certainly by 2013 for the Maha Kumbh Mela!
