we have a song "bhang ka rang chadha ho bhaiya khailo paan chabaye !" hehe
but be aware with bhang it does miracles sometimes haha ;)

amrta holi celebrated here. we just had it in the temple. it coincides with the biggest gaudiya vaisnava holiday of the year. gaura purnima (the birthday of krsna chaitanya mahaprabhu- the last incarnation of krsna) it was outta control.
we had 140 preps of bhoga (later prasadam) on the altar, abhishel, arati, kirtan, pravachan. it was amazing....
happy holi to all....
does anybody know what it means.... ;)
are bolo manish, holika, krsna, etc the whole story. sab lok ke liye.... -

the funny thng was quite a few people thought it had somethng to do w st pat's day coz there was so much green on people LOL
most people didnt know initially what the hell was going on over the lawns with people multicolored shouting and shreiking and laughing- but the students here rock!!! after some initial hesitation and curious and wondering big eyed looks, they dug in themselves one by one and soon we had a pretty big crowd of people throwing colors on one another- too bad the bhang was missing tho.....that wud have been an awesome add-on but i doubt if we cud have gotten permission fr that on-campus! its cannabis after all :p but given that it was raining, i just miss that drink ryt now-... :)
just came back home and showered- next yr its gonna be a bigger one fr sure!!!! -
