I may be going to Mumbai soon, and I was wondering what people´s thoughts/experiences are there. A vague question, I know. I heard that it´s like the Hollywood of India, true? And of course a profound clash in classes. Let me know :)

Thu, April 10, 2008 - 9:00 AMmumbai is awesome. i adore it there. nice temples, good shopping, good restaurants. and it is cleaner than ANY other large indian city. hands down my favorite city in india. not my favorite place, but city.
juhu is a very nice upscale place. u have ppl that have tons of money (filthy rich) and u also have beggars in mumbai proper. it is to be expected. thats india. tourists in colaba. the gateway of india. u can go to the elephanta caves. much to do in mumbai.
i think cuz of the ocean, the city stinks less than other indian cities.
